Get right into it...
I hear grown women discussing this show everywhere I go, but what saddens me the worst is the youth that watch and follow.
We start out discussing rape. Poor Tami. That is horrible and I am glad she can finally face it and deal with it. Take charge, girl. No one ever has a right to touch someone physically without consent in a sexual way. AND no one ever has the right to get up from a table and slap someone...but we will save that for later.
It broke my heart </3 to see Tami's mother so upset and I cannot believe that it happened to her mother too. LET'S BREAK THE CYCLE! I hope this helps their relationship grow, it's true - you don't need nobody but your family. Now we know a little bit more about why Tami started off as such an angry person, she is evolving and becoming more patient. I am a little upset with Tami this season, she shouldn't be all up on the band wagon and following the hate train on Jenn. She should at least talk with Jenn 1x1. Can we blame Jenn for isolating herself from these women? She gets verbally and physically assaulted, it ain't right. I think that Tami could have stopped Miss Assistant from hitting her, I think all the other girls could have too, but I will get more on that later.
I felt like Shaunie and Tami were setting up an attack from the get. Why plan when something should be addressed. I guess it's for the cameras, because I know if I had an issue I would call my girl up and discuss over the phone or ask to meet alone. But we need to watch the show and the drama, right?
Royce & Desmond. Cute, cute, cute. I am happy for her, she deserves a good man. I still question his intentions because any person that has been introduced into any type of fame has to now weed out the leeches and users and do a lot of digging to find the inner-soul. I hope that Desmond is it for her. Regardless of whether Desmond is or is not the right one, her father needs to BACK IT UP. He's too controlling. Royce is a big girl and can make her own money and now pick her own men. She's not a whore - she doesn't sleep around - so trust her. If she slips and falls, help her back up and guide her, that's what fathers do. Getting involved too much is not a good thing, it is too controlling and will just separate the father from the daughter more and more. It's wrong. Let her spread her wings, she was given a gift and the public loves her. Go Royce! After all the hazing you went through, you deserve it. But girl, you need to get prenuptual if he ain't making what you are.
Shaunie and Tami and their discussion on...Jenn and Kenya. Tami's impression of Kenya's dancing was hysterical! I could watch that all day. She should do a mock dance of Kenya's youtube video. Kenya is nuts, I do not like her. I would have been supportive if she wasn't such a fake b*tch. What she did to Keisha is unforgivable in my eyes. You don't use other people and throw them under the bus to gain friends, these girls aren't dumb and saw right through her junk. Kenya is crazy and does abnormal things, that's cool, that makes her interesting. But the "fakage" (in the words of Jenn) needs to stop.
As they discussed Jenn, I could see the band-wagon arriving. I get it, Jenn has maybe changed and they could be disliking that a little, but tell me has Tami changed since we first saw her--- YES! Has Evelyn -YES! THEY ALL HAVE. So why hate on Jenn? I can understand Evelyn's beef, but not everyone else. And if Tami knew it could "turn left real quick" if she confront Jenn about it, why bring it up in a dangerous setting. I am pro-drama - that's why I watch, but I am in no way a fan of this sick and twisted physical violence.
Evelyn and Miss Assistant. I don't even give assistant chick any credit anymore. Ride on Evelyn's coat-tails a little more why don't you? Their convo did seem genuine and this was before we got to see the side of her that is wannabe Ev, where she talks smack, threatens and uses violence. I sympathized with her and was let in on a little bit more of what has been going on with Jenn during this conversation, and they would have had my support had they not reacted the way that they did later on in the episode...
Let the mind games begin!
Why couldn't Tami address Jenn then? She had girls there, just one was missing...Evelyn. It makes me think that Tami wants to do this in front of Evelyn. Tami is her own chick to the most of it, but there is a piece of her that goes the extra mile to remain close with Evelyn. Even in the past, she forgave and saw past some shit that she would never have with any other girl...do you agree? I enjoyed this scene and when they watched the movie and went for drinks after. It was refreshing to see them get along and enjoy each others company.
Evelyn closing the store. So tell me you haven't changed? You are too celebrity now to deal with your store and work 6 days a week. We get it. But don't tell me you haven't changed.
Jenn is real class, even when she is talking to Al who thinks a healthy scrap doesn't hurt nobody. Yeah to a girl who has never been in a fight and respects her business too much to be rolling on the floor, throwing punches and bleeding over a friendship gone bad. The friendship went bad, call it a day and move on.
WHY ARE YOU HERE?
Racetrack drama. These girls and horses, there's something in the air, maybe it's the shit - but whatever it may be, drama ensues. But then again, when doesn't when these chicks are in a group setting.
Side Note: Kenya?? Where are you? Is this the start of her demise on the show? Time will tell.
Susie says "I am just looking forward to a fun day with the girls." Please bitch. Don't act like you did not know there was going to be drama. The division of the two groups was interesting as opposed to last season. Miss Assistant starts up right away. She should have listened to Shaunie, that's a lot of convo's going on. AKA BACK OFF. You do not need to claim fame by starting shit on TV. It wont turn out well for you. So Assistant Chick couldn't quit the grillin, she had beef to start and she was going to.
The drama starts off with Tami confronting Jenn on her letter that went out warning everyone to not get out of line. How could the girls question this? It's that simple, don't hit her, don't lay a hand on her, YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT! I guess Evelyn did not care what the lawyer warned, neither did her trash bag assistant. Nia did not do bad until she asked Jen if she "needs to be smacked in her f'n face to wake up"...once she did that her respect level went to the floor, but the ratings went to to the sky so it works out well for Vh1.
Tami acting like she was scared to get hit. That shit was crazy. Their fight was less than par, and Jenn did a good job warding her off.
The show ends with Evelyn jumping like a wild beast over the table. Low class. And now the previews of next episode shows Evelyn crying over Jennifer calling Miss Assistant, Nia, a bum bitch. Didn't Evelyn call Royce a bum bitch last season. Evelyn you are a damn hypocrite and you lost your shit this season. You been fighting every episode and it's old and tired. I wouldn't be surprised if you caught a huge case and Chad kept it moving.
